“Life is marked by highs and lows. Without one, we could not appreciate the other.”
Lokai bracelets are infused with elements from Mt. Everest and the Dead Sea, the highest and lowest points on earth. The white ball and black ball are connected by a string of clear beads, “signifying that throughout life’s circular journey, your path is your own.” These elements are reminders to stay humble during life’s peaks and hopeful during its lows.
For founder Steven Izen, his inspiration for Lokai came from his grandfather being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. He felt that some parts of his life were so great, while other times his life felt so broken. He had experienced many highs and was going through a personal low.
Aside from the classic Lokai bracelet, the company releases new colors every so often. Most recently, a purple bracelet was released that gave back to the Alzheimer’s Association.
For every purchase, 10% of net profits are donated to the community through various charities such as Save the Children, World Wildlife Fund and Pencils of Promise.
Keep an eye out for a new bracelet color and be sure to swing by to pick up your own!
